Your Stories
If any of you out there have a customer service problem we would like to hear from you. After all it's our hard earned dollars that pay these people who treat us like WERE the problem and there doing us a favor. Maybe we might be able to help each other out, or let us know where NOT to shop. I do know if you mention you have a blog on Bad Service on the web sometimes the managers attitudes change. Hope to hear your stories and maybe WE can change one store or service at a time for the better.
Home Depot Update
Home Depot finally sent me an email apologizing for the lack of service. They went one better then Lowes.Home Depot sent me a $20.00 gift card and sent it over night. In my opinion as far as customer service goes Home Depot has it over Lowes. Just remember If you have a problem with a Store or service and you can't resolve your problem verbally ,write or send an email to the main office that way there is a record of the problem and it won't just go away like it never happened, also take names and or employee numbers. If they won't give it to you (which has happened) ask another employee,they may be helpful.

Lows Home Improvement Center
I sent an email off to both Lowes and Home Depot Home Improvement center, Explaining there customer service problems. Well I must say Lowes got back to me with in a few days and apologized and he said he had a meeting with the staff to work on this problem I'd say a little to late. Then again it was better than Home Depot who didn't answer and obviously doesn't seem to care to much. On the receipts your asked to do a survey which I do all the time I seriously think they don't read them, If they did there service would be better. I think part of the problem is there are very few Home Improvement Stores and they know you'll be back for that simple reason. If we had more of a choice,service MIGHT be a little better.

Bad Service
Hi I'm Sheri and you'll be hearing from me often about the Lack of customer service. I know we all have run into this time and again,but it has totaly out of hand.
Just the other day my water heater went bad so I went to Home Depot I saw a fellow who of corase was from another department and couldn't help me but he did page someone to the plunbinging department 3 times I wasted an hour and left with nothing. So off to Lowes I went. The store was empty I thought great I know what I need so I went to the desk and asked if someone could meet me at the howater heaters they said sure. As I was walking back the guy passed by me and said the girl was in the parking lot and she'll be there soon I said all I needed was help putting the heater on the cart but he kept walking. Oh did I tell you the heaters were in the back where 3 employees were just hanging out talking I had to grab a guy off a fork lift to help me slide it on my cart. It gets better after I paid I asked if someone can load it in my van she said sure and once again paged someone and also told me there should be a person outside . Well I waited and waited asked again waited some more. I'm 5' tall and this is a big water heater, needless to say I loaded it in my van MYSELF not easy at all but I never would have gotten out of there. What gets me is WE the consumer pay there salary and for what I don't know . If I didn't know better I would have thought it was a self serve store.
